The Secretary General of the African Parliamentary Union (APU), IDI GADO Boubacar, held a courtesy meeting today with a Mozambican delegation visiting Kinshasa to participate in the 84th Session of the Executive Committee and the 47th Conference of Presidents of the organisation.
The Secretary General expressed his great satisfaction at the presence of the Mozambican delegation, which is not a member of the APU but has shown interest in participating in its work.
For his part, MP Sérgio Pantié, head of the Mozambican delegation, said he appreciated the work and dynamism of the APU and congratulated the organisation on this event.
He also thanked the APU for its invitation, as it is in the interest of the Mozambican Parliament to maintain good relations with other African parliaments.
MP Leoneta Ribeiro was also part of the Mozambican delegation.
