Honourable Fouda Arada Izzedine elected Chair of the Committee of Women Parliamentarians
On Thursday (20 November 2025), Chadian MP Fouda Arada Izzedine (centre) was elected President of the Committee of Women Parliamentarians of the African Parliamentary Union (APU), replacing Algerian MP Wassila Tayeb for a two-year term.
In the same process, MP Aissata Ibrahim of Niger was elected Vice-Chair, and Malian MP Aminata Sangaré was elected Rapporteur of the committee.
